About the 17 year old kid that murdered two people in Kenosha. I haven't heard anyone question

Last edited Wed Sep 2, 2020, 03:32 PM - Edit history (1)

who he got the gun from or why his parents let him drive or took him there to look for trouble? I believe under
Federal law you must be 18 years old to buy a long gun. If you are under 18 you can buy one from a private party.
Did he buy the gun and who from or did his parents let him use the gun?

PS

I didn't realize he was so close to Kenosha I corrected it. I had Minnesota and Wisconsin crossed in my head. But rather than argue about the shooter people are stuck on the distance he traveled? What is the difference?

What route do you have him taking? Google says ~20 miles between the towns.

I think Rittenhouse borrowed the rifle from someone he knew in WI, where he had a job. Given that he regularly went there to work, I imagine he had access to a car to get there.

It's 20 miles from Antioch, IL to Kenosha, WI.

From what I've seen, he's been well acquainted with guns since he was very young.

I hope they're looking to use her strategically but to be frank it seems doubtful that would work with a sociopath like that little piece of shit.

is that I'm not confident they are going to get the little Prick Rittenhouse on anything, except maybe a relatively minor gun charge.

From what I can tell, the first guy shot, followed the little police wannabe into a car lot and confronted him and supposedly tried to take Rittenhouse's rifle from him.

"Prosecutors said Rosenbaum followed Rittenhouse into a used car lot, where he threw a plastic bag at the gunman and attempted to take the weapon from him." https://abc13.com/kyle-rittenhouse-kenosha-shooting-jacob-blake/6393801/

Now shooting someone who threw a plastic bag at you still seems like murder; but if he was trying to take the rifle away, that changes things. Does anyone have a video of the first shooting?

The guy that was shot in the arm was carrying his own pistol.

If on a jury, I'd vote to convict Rittenhouse just for going to a protest armed, being a pissant right winger looking for trouble, and even wearing his hat backwards.

But, have a feeling the defense will claim that Rittenhouse shot the first guy in self-defense and the others were chasing him to take his rifle too.

Whatever, it ought to be a crime to carry a gun to a protest.
