CDC Tells States to Prepare for Vaccine by Early November
September 2, 2020 at 3:07 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

The CDC has notified public health officials in all 50 states and five large cities to prepare to distribute a coronavirus vaccine to health care workers and other high-risk groups “as soon as late October or early November,” the New York Times reports.

“The new CDC guidance is the latest sign of an accelerating race for a vaccine to greatly ease a pandemic that has killed more than 184,000 Americans.”

successful vaccine thus far? I haven't heard anything yet, maybe there is, but I'd think that there would be more hubbub on such a development.

vaccine some time ago, and then I have heard nothing. Can you imagine the massive efforts to produce literally billions of vaccines (hundreds of millions alone for the US), and the time lag needed to produce such volumes. I'm thinking a minimum of six months (absolute) to 1 year, at least. Probably more.

ETTD. If the MF is pushing it, count on adverse effects with no accountability. For the record, I am NOT an anti-vaxer.

.

I guess they want it as close to the election as possible.

I think anti-vaxxers, and their precious disease spreading children, should be the first to use it. 😂

They were still looking for people to volunteer for the most recent trials. They can't get enough older, minority candidates to make it a good trial. They were begging for them a few weeks ago. No way is that ready for rollout by November. I won't take any vaccine Trump tells me is safe, or his CDC for that matter.

This is nothing to worry about and I hope we do have a vaccine sooner than later.
