Real, genuine and good faith Democrats, please consider---there are "Democrats" whose sole purpose

in posting here and elsewhere is to amplify every bit of "OMG! WE ARE DOOMED!" sewage that Putin and equally reprehensible "Americans" are injecting into the body politic.

Some scream; some cry; some will publicly wet themselves and rend their clothes because some unknown blogger or poster has pulled another unsourced lie out of their ass. Some of the pros will camouflage their intent by mixing an occasional "attaboy" with their faint praise and disingenuous questioning.

These digital thugs are the on-line version of the Proud Boys: they are here to destroy us. Their "oxygen" is our responses of any kind.

Ignore them, please!

at the virtual Michigan Democratic Convention caucuses last weekend, there were so called progressives causing problems. They come across as our way or the highway. They are doom and gloom all the way. I pointed out that we are a diverse party of which they are part of, but not the whole party. How would folks respond to them?

Liars depend on the honesty of their victims. They can't process the lies told to them by others and they get crazy. Lawyers do this all the time when cross examining witnesses.

of losing perspective such as described here. And the Lord knows I don't mean to feel like "gloom and doom" is closing in on us all, again. In 2016 November 3, I went to bed sure that my candidate was going to be the next POTUS. I woke up gleeful and turned on my computer, hit news sources and the very first one caused my heart to fall into the depths of despair.

How in the hell, I screamed at the top of my voice. I felt like I felt when the towers fell killing all the innocent children and adults. I felt like that in Vietnam when a bunker mate died. I felt like the day my sister died, too young, too early. Not knowing at that time that our outdated EC was to blame with rogue voters giving their nod to the orange clown that is potus at this time.

I understand completely what you are trying to achieve here. I was attacked for feeling dread one day and putting my feelings out. The attack broke my faith in that person. We, Democrats, are human beings. Subject to the laws that govern our emotions. So I understand your impatience. Please try and understand us.

The attack did make me think and I sucked it up and made the decision to trust our Party leaders, although I am still getting twinges of damn I wish they...

Yet you are right we must concentrate on getting this orange menace and his administration of disorganized and organized crime out of office.

And thank you, your OP is important, timely and is the leadership needed in this battle for our collective souls and the soul of our country.

since 1980. I don't believe, or listen to, any anti-Biden/Harris propaganda. I do fear that this election will be a guerrilla affair on the republican front, and a conventional one for democrats. We will vote democratic and outnumber them, but this election will be fought between November 4th and December 14th, when the electoral college votes. This election will be contested by every means possible by Barr and the DOJ. The supreme court will play the leading role. So, I'm not wetting myself or rending my clothes, but I'm no Pollyanna either. The novelty factor will be high in this election.

things are rough enough without frequent hand-wringing doomsayers.

Everybody needs to toughen up a bit. Straighten up that spine and fight back against these thugs.

No doubt some of these hand-wringers are plants, maybe even Russiabots.

I have very real concerns about this election and what stunts the GOP will pull in there effort to win at any cost. Pointing out some of these issues should not make someone a bad person. No two people are alike in how they feel or what they worry about. 2016 look good to and in the end it wasn't. 2020 looks good also, however the GOP is pulling out all the stop in their attempt to win(steal) this election. Pointing out some of the thing going on and wondering about them is human nature. Personally I'll believe that we won when Joe takes the oath of office, until then the GOP will try anything to stay in power. After he is sworn in the GOP will do everything in can to keep him from accomplishing anything positive for America. If that is doom and gloom so be it I however think it just being realistic.

If they can get the polls close enough to steal, they will steal it (with the help of Russia, the GOP gov's, Bill Barr, Etc.) They have done this before and they are already trying to do it again.
So we have to be ever vigilant.
If Trump loses, he's going to prison. And he knows it. Between Election Day & January 20th, he will unleash Holy Hell, the likes of which we have never seen.

We MUST take the senate! Please contribute what you can, not only to your own Dem senators, but to Dems challenging repuke senators, especially in the middle of the country. We won't win 'em all, but if we get enough of them, we just might get the whole pie.

This is the most consequential election of our lives! Work like your life depends on it. It does!

I saw doom 'n gloom posts like "we"re toast" and "we're losing the House" and see what happened?

Historic Blue Wave!

But if these doom 'n gloom posts will "motivate" a few voters "more" to go doing phone work, walk the walk, distribute flyers (about the cRiminal cabal wanting to gut Social Security, Medicare and the ACA (Obamacare), then go stand in line wearing masks 'n gloves for hours if need be to vote in two months, then why not? Got to register the young voters who never voted before and convince them it's their future that's at stake THIS time (climate change is real). A breathtaking landslide is needed more than ever, even moreso in swing states!

There are those who’s sole purpose is too fan the flames of doom and gloom and one should always consider that possibility when seeing such posts. Having said that to think that Democratic Party is just fine, prepared and has all of it bases covered for the coming election would be a serious mistake. IMO

I don’t think we are “doomed” but I would certainly like to see the Dems engage on a much larger front. Right now they seem to just be biding the time waiting for Nov 3rd and the voters to take care of the DT problem. The most vocal group against DT/GOP rt now is a group of former Republicans...which is really weird. Dems should on TV / Social media / Press everyday getting the messages out to all voters of all the crap DT is doing and there is plenty of crap to point at. Emoluments, Economy, 100’s of million the trump family has cost America to golf alone, sabotage of the USPS, many aspects of the PANDEMIC there is no shortage of subjects the Dems can be hammering the GOP with. I have to admit I expected the Dems to be much more active then they have been since taking back the House in 2018. I realize that they don’t have a lot of power but the powers they do have should be utilized.

The GOP is going to do anything/everything to win because they simply cannot afford to lose. Real investigations into the last 4 yrs by an AG who really stands for rule of law would devastate the GOP. Just yesterday DT was straight up telling people to vote twice. There is nothing the GOP will not do to win and the Dems need to be ready across the nation at every polling place if necessary to ensure the vote is fair...and I have to admit their silence / low profile rt now is disconcerting
