Never forget the Amazing Tom Seaver opposed the Vietnam War. Also, though he suffered from dementia, he died of Covid-19. Heartbreaking.

In 1969, Tom Seaver said, "it’s perfectly ridiculous what we’re doing about the Vietnam situation. It’s absurd! When the series is over, I’m going to have a talk with Ted Kennedy, convey some of my ideas to him and then take an ad in the paper. I feel very strongly about this.”
