There are a few Walgreens sites across the country that seem to offer free COVID testing. But when I called the 800 number associated with a location on Google Maps, this is what I got. I got it from my land and from my cell. I haven't yet found a number I can use to find out more details about testing.
The same initial recording happened to me a few days ago regardin a different issue, but I can't remember who I was trying to call.
Has this happened to any of you?
First time I called: Got a recorded message telling me I would get a free medic alert gadget. This had happened to me before, in Watertown. I think I was calling about COVID related stuff. Can't remember.
Second time I called: "You have dialed a number that is not available from your calling area."
Third time I called: "You have dialed a number that is not available from your calling area."
Fourth time I called: "Dial 9 for <something about looking up a number>
Fifth time I called: "You have dialed a number that is not available from your calling area."
I wised up and decided to use my 617 area cell phone.
First time I called: I got the recorded message menu. This time I chose 2 (not over 50). I was told I qualified for free roadside assistance.
