4. RWNJ Salon Owner-not stylist-set Nancy up

Poor Nancy. She’s got a stylist she likes but he rents his chair from a RWNJ. Stylist gets permission from owner to use premises, observes all the rules CA has established for salons, gives Nancy a good wash, style, maybe color, and blowout. Nancy is happy. Stylist is happy, RWNJ is also happy, screwing both stylist and Nancy.

I’m guessing RWNJ didn’t expect the outpouring of sympathy Nancy has gotten from suburban women. When my wife heard she burst out, “you go Nancy!”

I would also note that months back there were a coupe of stylists who tested positive for Corona Virus. There were dozens of folks who had been in close proximity and possibly at risk. But because the stylists and their customers all wore masks and distanced as much as possible, no others were infected.

It sounds like it was done without anyone else except the stylist on the premises, therefore endangering nobody.

This would be the same as if a movie star or a businessperson arranged to have a salon owner style them privately without opening the store. The salon wouldn't be open to the public.

The point of COVID restrictions is to prevent large crowds from congregating in indoor spaces. This is a non-story.

Have we heard of any outbreaks connected to a flight since they all started requiring masks? No. I've flown 3 times and almost everyone in the airport is wearing them & all certainly are on the planes. It WORKS

32. Let's say I had a private appointment at a hair salon for a shampoo and blow out,

and let's assume there's no one there but the stylist and me.
Let's say I drank a nice latte on the way to the salon and needed to visit the ladies room after the shampoo but before the blow out. Let's say the ladies room is on the other side of the empty salon. I'm pretty sure that I'd take off my mask on the way to the loo. Just sayin.

35. Catching Nancy Pelosi not wearing a mask at a hair salon is like catching your Mom not wearing

her seat belt when she has told you repeatedly how important it is to wear one. You simply respond by saying, "I care about you and don't want you to get hurt, so please remember to do that thing that you have been telling people to do" and then you move on. It is important, but I don't crucify people over it. What is ironic is people like Trump have been saying for months that people should be able to choose whether or not they should be able to wear a face mask, then when Nancy doesn't wear a face mask, they freak out. Since Trump and company have never freaked out when a Republican chooses not to wear a face mask, regardless of what they have said on the subject, we can conclude that it's OK not to wear a face mask if you are a Republican, but not OK if you are a Democrat. Got it.
