The military will vote overwhelmingly for Trump. The amount of denial it requires to be a Trump supporter in the first place is more than enough to deflect this.

I remember being in Palm Springs on a golf junket in spring 2004 when the George Bush national guard story was a big deal. Not the CBS aspect. That was early fall. But during spring the story was a hot topic and I attended an air show in Palm Springs that began with a speech inside the aviation museum. The old military guy who was being honored deviated from the topic of the plane that was going to be flown and started gushing about Bush 43 while emphasizing that national guard duty was far more significant and honorable than anything John Kerry ever did. The old white crowd initially applauded and then stood up for an ovation that extended several minutes.

That's what a lost cause they are, and it's far worse now than in 2004. This is a big story but shamefully one that will not move votes.
