as a nazi thug killed one of his fellow soldiers? I didn’t watch the movie, but caught part of it near the end on tv, I only watched the part near the end when nazis had the American troops trapped in a war torn town.

he glanced at the kid in disgust, then just ignored and sauntered by him. The kid was so inconsequential, the German didn't even bother worrying about his potential to kill anyone.

No good deed goes un punished. Didn't the German soldier get killed in the end?
The first scenes depicted on Omaha beach were horrible also. I remember my father telling me when I was a kid that in the first minutes of the landing hundreds of men died. Ramp down, your dead. They portrayed it perfectly in the movie. It's like the scene they always play when it's the anniversary of D-Day. The grainy black and white film of those four guys running up the beach and one just drops.. I can't watch it any more. Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age... war sucks...

... give a damn if his fellow travelers were killed right next to him.

That kid at the end of the movie eventually shot a German point blank range because he wouldn't drop his weapon.

He evolved unto get them before they get us after he saw his fellow troopers fall, Trump would never shoot that German.
