FBI pondered whether Trump was 'a Manchurian candidate elected,' former agent alleges in new book

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok alleges in a new book that investigators came to believe it was “conceivable, if unlikely” that Russia was secretly controlling President Trump after he took office — a full-fledged “Manchurian candidate” installed as America’s commander in chief.

In the book, “Compromised,” Strzok describes how the FBI had to consider “whether the man about to be inaugurated was willing to place his or Russia’s interests above those of American citizens,” and if and how agents could investigate that. Strzok opened the FBI’s 2016 investigation into whether Trump’s campaign had coordinated with the Kremlin to help his election and later was involved in investigating Trump personally. He was ultimately removed from the case over private text messages disparaging of the president.

“We certainly had evidence that this was the case: that Trump, while gleefully wreaking havoc on America’s political institutions and norms, was pulling his punches when it came to our historic adversary, Russia,” Strzok writes. “Given what we knew or had cause to suspect about Trump’s compromising behavior in the weeks, months, and years leading up to the election, moreover, it also seemed conceivable, if unlikely, that Moscow had indeed pulled off the most stunning intelligence achievement in human history: secretly controlling the president of the United States — a Manchurian candidate elected.”

Strzok seems to believe now that is not the case — though he told the Atlantic that Trump’s conduct is deeply problematic.

James Comey sunk the candidate, Hillary Clinton, before the election.

Does this all sound hokey to anyone else? If the FBI really thought that Trump was "Compromised," why did James Comey go rogue? Is he a mole?

hypothesises, yet this orange menace slinked into the nation's highest political office behind McConnel and since his handlers have thwarted every investigation with distraction and obfuscation. His impeachment while now on record ended up as a sham because Mcconel's FSB handlers in the Senate thwarted that case against trump. The Mueller investigation was doomed from the beginning and was full of drama but no real substance stuck enough to take away from his jaundiced base of utterly stupid human beings following their fuhrer toward destruction. T

his guy was chummy enough with the Russian mafia who wined, dined and...him and then loaned him millions which d. trump still owes them. Follow our orders or your family suffers? Is this the story we are living with. Money is the in here and this potus owes russians millions. Tax records anyone? Judges still delaying that one. He's totally compromised? No doubts.

It's not like he's ever changed his words and deeds. He has consistently undermined everything that the United States has ever stood for. He has repeatedly done the dirty work of foreign adversaries, wounding - perhaps irretrievably - the very foundations on which the country is structured. If he is NOT a Russian asset, let someone prove that to me.

His behavior is 'deeply problematic' because Putin and Russian oligarchs are pulling his strings. Why? They OWN his debt. He belongs to them.

manchrian candidate in reagan years

she was the anti-reagan, threatening to derail their nuclear ambitions and nukes in space plans - worth trillions

so she died like wellstone in 1985 at 13 yo as the activist was becoming a hollywood star

theyy didn't have limbaugh then but he would have led the radio attacks on her like he does greta thunberg

He may not be directly and continually controlled like the Manchurian Candidate, but I think it's highly likely his financial survival was made possible by Russian oligarchs through Deutsche Bank.

Consequently, Putin has some real leverage over Trump. The former KGB knows how to handle and manipulate an asset.

There has been a group who have been planning America's slaughter for decades. They have put the country into debt as a result of tax cuts for the wealthy. Now that we have encountered this horrible plague without any resources saved to help us get through the economic disaster, they have printed more money to give a pittance to the average American while serving up trillions for the wealthy to divide amongst themselves. They're bringing America down and they're going to divide her up like men with sharp sticks who bring down the giant mammoth. Before they go, they'll have us all at each other's throats so much that we won't even notice the theft.

Some of the people who are bringing down America are Americans themselves, but many are from other countries. Trump does what he likes and faces no retribution for his acts. He and his family are cashing in at every turn. They know what's coming. Trump is the whore riding upon the great beast, heralding the end of an age. You could also call him a Manchurian Candidate, or you could call him an antichrist.
