Trump thought 2008 deal he did with Russian Oligarch was with Putin

Read through the multiple tweets by Seth Abrahmson.

"meaning Trump Entered the White House Considering Himself Indebted to Putin" and "If Trump thought Rybolovlev was Putin's direct agent, it means when Trump's plane met Rybolovlev's twice in the days before the 2016 election, Trump thought he was getting communications directly from Putin *right before an election Putin was attacking."

From CNN re Cohen's book:

"By ingratiating himself with Putin, and hinting at changes in American sanctions policy against the country under a Trump Presidency," Cohen writes, "the Boss was trying to nudge the Moscow Trump Tower project along." (One of the crimes to which Cohen pleaded guilty was lying to Congress about the duration of the negotiations regarding the Moscow development.)

Cohen also portrays Trump as aspiring to have ties to the Russian president. After Trump sold a Palm Beach mansion he purchased for $41 million to a Russian oligarch named Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million in 2008, Cohen says, Trump told Cohen he believed the real buyer was Putin."

The Obama actor part is funny, but it's not the real news here.

Russian mob and oligarchs for years. A bunch of them lived in Trump Tower and Noel Casler , who did talent logistics for Celebrity Apprentice , said that the after parties were full of Russians. He said Jared and Ivanka were always huddled in a corner with Felix Sater.

I believe Trump’s golf course in Scotland , which he paid for in cash and has never made money, is a money laundering vehicle.

Lock him up.

Obviously it hasn't been executed.

Why isn't Trump royally pissed at Putin for not making it happen?

Is Trump still going to try to build it if he loses or (God forbid), he gets a second term?

Until Trump leaves office. It's possible Trump isn't interested anymore, or Putin knows Trump won't have value once he's left the presidency.

right in the White House. Putin has gotten what he's paid for: troop withdrawals from Germany and Syria, weakening NATO, and a weakened US.

so if he did a deal with a Russian, it was de facto a "deal with Putin."
