Falling forward, and not putting out arms to brace the fall means one is O-U-T!
A short, from the shoulder right, even on the button, shouldn't do that, but if the "tough guy" completely missed that punch was coming, it's lights out.
Had a boxing coach in Aurora tell me 45 years ago that 2 guys around the same size generally can't knock the other out with one punch unless it's timed so well that dude never saw it coming.

It takes a lot of skill to render an opponent unconscious. In most cases, a "one-punch knockout" happens when you catch the opponent coming into your strength. And it is that one you don't see coming that is what either hurts the most, or knocks you out.

I was surprised to find out that the lead side is the weaker side, left for a right hander. But on reflection, that makes sense.

When a person starts boxing, everything feels backwards. The strangest thing, as you noticed, is that a right-handed person has their left foot forward -- and hence their left hand. But in time, it becomes "first nature." I beat plenty of good fighters using almost only my left. It can be used to jab (most important), hook, or uppercut (these become as hard of punches as your right). Doing this gives an advantage in footwork, defense, and definitely offense.

If you see the film of the great heavyweight champion Joe Louis, you'll note that jab is frequently a "range-finder." It sets up the right. Note how Joe sifts his weight as he moves, from the back foot to the front -- both when he is cutting the distance between him and his victim, and also as he throws that right-hand punch. All of his strength, from the toes on his right foot up to his right shoulder, are going into the punch. (Thus, if needed, his left foot has kept his balance -- essential for punching-power -- which is a triangle with his two feet and middle chest as the three points. Now, he can twist off the left foot, and throw a left hook.)

I don’t normally like watching violence either, and actually hesitated before posting, but I felt in this case the guy deserved it and it just felt good to see some justice being served...finally.

It was my son who found it and sent to me. But he sent to me with the warning “mom, I wouldn’t go hanging around that subreddit long because it can get real toxic and sometimes racist.” Nice when your kids look out for you, lol. The BLM protestor in this video didn’t throw the first punch, the MAGA man did. What would you have him do instead? He also stood there calmly after the MAGA man was down.
