Don Jr: "Arlington Cemetery reminded him of his family's "sacrifices"

Donald Trump Jr.: “As we drove past the rows of white grave markers [at Arlington Cemetery], in the gravity of the moment...I also thought of...all the sacrifices we’d have to make—giving up a huge chunk of our business and all international deals.”

financially when he actually won in 2016. He was trying to revitalize his so-called business, and I remember looking forward to yet another bankruptcy as his name was coming down off buildings, his brand was trash, Ivanka couldn't sell her clothes, etc.

Deplorable is such a kind word for them.

Yeah, you made sacrifices, same as the frontline soldiers, but what was your reward? What was the payoff for you?

The soldiers did it for comrade and country. What benefit drove you and Eric to endure the deprivation of a late lunch?

learn the value of serving one's Country, will learn the value of a dollar. Now, these self entitled brats in the WH are ruining the reputation of all who had the good fortune to have wealth in their lives, to have grace and charm towards others that don't have such wealth (and don't flaunt it either).

They will learn how others truly see them when the money tills run dry and there is no one else to run to for more money (the Russians will be long gone). There won't be enough money in the world either to repair their financial shortfalls and/or their reputations. Money doesn't buy everything.

... Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump celebrated the opening of Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver in February 2017. The 63-story tower was funded by wealthy Malaysian developer Tiah Joo Kim, who inked a licensing deal with Trump that netted the president up to $5 million during his first year in office. Trump reported making $213,946 to manage the property last year ...

Right off the bat, China did its best to appease the incoming president, approving a “TRUMP” trademark for Trump’s construction-related services in China just days after Trump’s election night win. Although it might not seem like much, the trademark had proven to be elusive one for Trump. He unsuccessfully filed for the trademark in December 2006, then unsuccessfully appealed to Chinese courts.

The trademark was one of 77 approved Chinese trademarks Trump owned as of February 2017. One month later, China granted preliminary approval for another 38 trademarks in a hasty move described as “weird” by one Hong Kong intellectual property consultant ...
