(Guardian UK) Former vice-president Joe Bidens presidential campaign sees Arizona, Texas and Georgia as possible pathways to victory and ousting Donald Trump from the White House.
During a press briefing with reporters top Biden campaign officials displayed a map of the states that they see as winnable. The map showed Arizona, Texas and Georgia in the light pink color marked as expand states.
We really feel like all of these states are legitimately in play, Bidens campaign manager, Jen OMalley Dillon, said.
Democrats have not won any of those three states in the past two election cycles. They all have Republican governors. Texas in particular is a state Democrats have long hoped to put in their column, but so far to no avail. .............(more)

(5,304 posts)AZ is definitely winnable. GA and TX are close enough that trump has to spend money defending them, but doubtful they go blue. Would like to see Biden concentrate on winning winnable states, and if by chance those other states go blue, so much the better.
They've done a superb job so far, I assume they'll continue until the end.

(1,004 posts)at least not yet. They should focus those efforts on PA, MI, WI and even NC.
The only caveat is that GA is featuring TWO senate races, one of which will probably go to a runoff early next year. If one, or both, are within reach, spend away.

(58,629 posts)Although I think AZ is very winnable, with TX not far behind and GA a bit more problematic.
