Why Biden will do much better in the upcoming debates than in the primaries:

In the primaries, he faced a stage full of opponents, and any of of them could have emerged the eventual winner. He was too polite to enjoy interrupting fellow Democrats and didn't want to say something that would make it harder for the Democrat in the general , whoever that might be.

He will have no problem slicing and dicing Trump when it's one on one in the debates. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump decides to back out after going through the first debate.

I'm looking forward to it. And to watching Senator Harris demolish Mike Pence.

2. I remember when Obama fumbled a bit in his first debate with Romney

His numbers started to drop a little. There was pressure on Biden for the VP debate. I remember he wiped the floor with Ryan. It will be harder to debate against Trump because he constantly lies. How do you handle that without allowing him to control the direyof the debate. Must see tv. I hope he wipes the floor with Trump.

4. I was listening to David Axelrod on Al Franken's podcast, and he said about that Obama debate that

they hadn't expected Romney to take a turn to the left, which contributed to Obama's poor show in that debate. Axelrod is helping with Joe's Debate preparation so I think we can expect that he will be well prepared for this.
