So I thought I was in middle of Trumper country,,

And Honestly, we are. since we moved to Fla. but our campground where we moved had a Labor day thing yesterday. Lo and Behold! out of the 40 or so people that attended,,LilBit and Mrs and I leaves about 37,,, only 2,,,count em 2!!!! said they are voting for Trump. the rest are "closet Dems" They came ,asked questions about LilBit, changed the topic to politics, and looked ,in my opinion,sheepishly and told me ,,I gotta vote for Joe. I just said to them, why are you being so quiet about it?

Long evening and story ,short, We have a bunch of new friends, I have 4 new golf partners, that will not play golf in this town, but will travel to play golf. That goes back to the story of a local biz owner at Country Club here, who called, LilBit and me the R word. and they agreed to pull their membership and travel to golf with LilBit and I. 1 guy even tossed his red cap after talking to us and learning about LilBit.

My point,,I thought I had to be quieter here to protect against violence from Trumpers,,, seems LilBit has a bunch of Protectors along the way. This is just a ripple in the waters, in this small part of the country. I'm confident now, this kind of thing is happening all over.

Enough small ripples, make a wave,enough waves,,makes a tsunami. LETS GO!!!

Just go out and listen, make your points when asked.We don't need to force our beliefs, we are on the right side of history, most people know it,they just need verification for their mind.

in the first place. The loss of support of trump in Florida can be traced to the loss of the over 65yr old crowd with more loss to come as AARP (40 MILLION paid members) and all the democratic SuperPacs take to airwave using trumps own words of defunding SS and medicae.

And that's exactly what he's doing. He's too stupid to be an evil mastermind, he's just a bloviating, narcissistic, bigoted grifter. Putin can count on him to keep pulling at the loose threads in our democracy and be too stupid to realize that it will end as badly for him as it will for the rest of our country.

I hope there are reawakening like this all across America!

My friend the Republican is not voting for trump again. She somehow can’t bring herself to vote for Biden, so she’s going Libertarian this time. Go figure. But any vote on that side that’s NOT for trump is a good vote. Now I find myself thinking “one less vote for trump!” every time she and I talk.

She just couldn’t possibly bring herself to voting for Hillary... (for me that’s nearly impossible to reason out. Simply do NOT understand that one).

If we could reason with trumphumpers, there wouldn't be any. Your friend is still party over country. The campaign against Hillary was 40 years of propaganda that cultivated the gullible cult who, at heart, just cannot trust a woman. Kamala will face the same attempt, though she will have built trust and get the same wave that likely comes this time.

Deprogramming trumphumpers will take a while. If I knew your friend I would remind her that we Biden voters are literally saving her USPS, Social Security, Medicare, and getting an expert national pandemic team, and her younger family jobs through the Green New Deal's huge green manufacturing industries.

An actress. As is typical for actresses over “a certain age”, there are few roles, and of those, the big names get them, and casting usually only takes a chance on someone who’s young and considered “hot” in one way or other. My friend is unfortunately one of those older actresses who “can’t get arrested” in Hollywood.

I think her main objection has to do with the abortion issue, which is big for her. She doesn’t see the “get the government OUT of my gyno’s office and OUT of my body!” argument. At the same time she’s also, somehow, on the “hate big government” bandwagon. Go figure.

Long ago, she actually “had to” get married (if you know what I mean...). Her lover was a younger man who HATED having to be “tied

I suppose that side rationalizes that it’s really not “big” government intruding into a woman’s privacy and the most personal and intimate regions of HER body. Maybe in that one situation, they imagine a government about the size of a dildo or something...

The hypocrisy is strong in that one, Luke.

Don't let up! All of us need to do everything we can to GOTV and ensure that our votes are counted. Remember, he and the Rs are desperate and will do everything they can to steal this election because they are left with no other good alternative -- at least in their minds. Given the fragility of his ego and mind, this is life and death for tRump. He is all in because he has no other viable alternative. It's either he steals it, or the end for him.

Go Blue!

I live in Conservative West Michigan. Suburban Grand Rapids.

Neighbor across the street has been really unfriendly the whole time I lived here. I was walking my dog one evening and her dog was off the leash and came charging at us and our dogs had a 2 second scrap, her dog bit my dog in the shoulder where she just had surgery and my dog bit her dog in the throat requiring stitches. A couple days later the lady comes running out when I'm walking my dog again asking if my dog had its shots, it turns out the lady didn't even know we lived across the street. I assured her my dog had its shots and apologized that her dog was injured, but reminded her that her dog should have been leashed.

Well a week later, my Joe Biden sign came and I put it out in the yard. That evening I was doing some gardening in the front yard and the same lady comes running across the street with a big smile on her face. She's a Dem and was thrilled to see a Biden sign in the yard. We talked for a few and she was the nicest lady and really invested in the election. She said she had ordered her sign and was waiting for it to arrive. A couple weeks later her sign came, and so did the Biden-Harris signs for the 3 houses next to hers. So on our little block we now have 5 or 6 Biden signs, almost in a row, and 0 Trump signs! Really thought it would be 50-50. In fact, in my subdivision of about 60 houses, I see 0 Trump signs to about 10 Biden signs so far.

I see people questioning their former votes (for rump) and why they voted for him before. Three of the main reasons are:

-his ridiculous statement about those who serve in the military (suckers and losers), confirmed by at least 4 different sources (count them);

-his attack on Social Security (again, yet another attack on SS by trump, why? With his supposed $billions, why isn't he instead, trying to find ways to further strengthen SS instead of dismantling it?);

-the grossly incompetent manner in how he handled the entire corona virus (CV) epidemic, as well as the seeming lack of sorrow towards those passing and/or suffering from the CV.

Of course many more reasons could be listed but I won't go into them and you're well aware of them too. We all are.

My best to you and yours, and I want to compliment you for the magnificent manner in how you handle others when the issue of your daughter comes up (in dealing w/ those persons who are ignorant, you know what I mean). This to me is especially worth its weight in gold as I, when I was growing up as a young child, I was called the 'R' word because of my disability.

To this day, I will rage against those who use the 'R' so loosely and hatefully, and this is especially true after the crap that rump pulled in his one news conference mocking the disabled news reporter. There is no excuse ever to use such a hateful and mean-spirited word.

Disgusting behavior on the part of a disgusting human being. When I saw that, that sealed the deal for me, I will never support a dips**t who mocks the disabled in such a manner and I dare anyone who does support this POS to explain why are they supporting such a POS who has crapping on so many unfortunate souls in this Country and World?

Thanks for your courage.

The monster in the WH will soon be gone in Nov. 2020. I can't wait.
