"$100 million of his own money..."

Kimberley Johnson
@AuthorKimberley

His own money? More like money from Putin laundered thru Deutsche Bank.

Maggie Haberman
@maggieNYT

The president, who hated writing checks to his own campaign and did so reluctantly in 2016, is supposedly considering a huge investment of $100 million of his own money for the final 8 weeks

But it's OK, I'm sure Putin will be glad to front it for him and will just put it on his tab.

...has pointed to Trump's "wealth" as being nothing more than accumulated debt, wealth "on paper" that has nothing to do with the amount of cash he actually has once the debts are settled. That, and the "alleged" cash flow from Russia, are always the two most cited reasons for his refusal to release his tax returns.

Trump doesn't have that kind of cash.

If he was truly rich, he wouldn't have to hide his taxes.

Since everything Trump says is a lie, there won't be a huge infusion from Trump.

About a source for the money.

I think Russia gets at least 100MM value by keeping their pawn in office for another term.

Heck, I bet Putin thinks that’s a bargain. Especially since I’m sure it wouldn’t be his own money, but Russian state funds (just turn in the receipts for a reimbursement!)

I simply meant that Trump lies and he loves his money. He'll never spend $100 million of his own green. Never, even if he has it.

From the Washington Post:

"Though Trump personally contributed $66 million to his 2016 campaign, it would be unprecedented for an incumbent president to put his own money toward winning a second term.”

SUCH BULLSHIT!!!!!!! He doesn't HAVE that kind of money!!!!!

"i'm sorry, what?"

You know that guy thinks that is his money (if it even exists) and is just waiting for time and KFC to do their work.

you mean the money he stole and laundered from the US tax payers.

but, as usual, he's made these kinds of promises in the past: paying peoples health care bill or paying the legal defense bills for one of his moron follower but then bilks the persons involved.

so for him to actually crack open his wallet to help his very own campaign, I seriously doubt that will happen.

it will be funds he stole from the wall project or some other bullshit grift he pulled off and was enabled by the repukes in the senate.
