What do you think of some coaches/CEOs who are still against athletes protesting, etc?

There are a lot of white coaches/CEOs that are still against players protesting or speaking about racial issues....especially in hockey.....what do you think of them, even after all that we have seen since May?

Money is free speech and they understand they but someone kneeling before a game cannot be understood? I’m don’t with that level of stupid. If you don’t agree with kneeling then don’t kneel. But you don’t have the right to tell someone else not to.

Some athletes will be cut at the end of the year or traded.

Some coaches are dead set in their ways.

A lot of coaches see themselves as "patriotic, pro-American, etc."

I never have to fire people, they fire themselves. Same will happen to these Coaches and CEO's. First off, there are just a limited number of true Blue chip Athletes and they control the message going forward. CEO's,different story, until Share Holders demand change,we will be stuck with these Racist A-Holes.

I would venture a guess that most of the owners have contributed mightily to Moscow Mitch, Putin's Water Boy Trump, and the rest of the Republican party.

Blank who owns Home Depot and the Falcons is a HUGE Trump Humper helping to pay for the lawsuits to get voter suppression.

For most of these guys (overwhelmingly old white men) -- supporting Republicons is good for business. Lower corporate and personal taxes. For some Blank and Jerry Jones -- it seems to be part of their hateful DNA. Hell, they ended up paying Colin Kaepernick between 60 and 80 MILLION dollars for blackballing him at the urging of the Trump Humping owners. (Not sure how much Reid got)

So, that means each owner was willing to pony up at least 2-3 Million to defend a guy that hates them for not buying a team.

Of course, membership in the Trump has its privileges. Just ask Patriots owner Kraft about how perfectly legally obtained evidence of sex trafficking crimes can go away under Trump and Barr.

Mark Cuban stands out as the only openly anti-Trumper in sports ownership that I can think of.

...is very different than the other leagues.
I'm trying to remember where I found it, but one of the major mags did a review.
In 2016, NFL owners threw about 9x the money at Rs than D's
MLB & NHL was about 3:1.
But, the NBA was about 5:1 HRC, and around 6:1 down ballot for dems. So, it isn't just Cuban. Ballmer, Allen, & the owners of the Warriors, Suns, Pelicans, & Celtics were big donors to dems in 2016 & 2018.
It was extremely different than the other leagues' ownership.
