Trump is campaigning in NC right now

the people behind him are wearing masks- (most of them), but the crowd in front? About 1 in 10. NC is going to have a Covid 19 spike in the next two weeks. First the weekend, and now this mess.

Here's a live link--- he's just doing the usual blah blah blah....so turn the sound down-

We’re a purple state that voted for Obama.

I live in a red county and see pretty much 90% mask compliance. It seems to have gotten better.

I’ll bet he’s thrilled at what’s about to happen in the hospitals there. In fact we’ve got a ton of fragile relatives there, inc my 97 year old father in law. Last thing we need this.

only hit song. Weirdly, he's not being as obnoxious as he could be. But, he is surrounded by people with no masks. They are more than six feet away, but pretty concentrated.

We have a crucial Governor race and a crucial Senate race, and, so far, both Dems are doing really well against their unpopular Repub opponents.

Trump is on the defensive, having to defend previously safe "red" states.

I don't live there any longer but I still follow what's going on there. I really, really hope NC does not go for Trump. I will be terribly disappointed if they do.

counties we know can turn out big. Trump won N.C. in 2016, but, we won the Gvernor and Attorney Gen seats. DU contributed to Mecklenburg County Dem Party and it made a big difference in 2016 and 2018. Meck voter turnout is the best machine in the state.....that is where we run up the numbers for statewide races. Republicans know this....that’s why they are focusing efforts here. They are worried about losing the state legislature that they control right now.

She's a big draw and she could get some media attention. I have no idea if she's planning a visit soon or not.

The weather here is great. It's 76 degrees, no rain-

Winston-Salem has about 200,000 people, Greensboro is 20 minutes away and has about 250,000.

Right after a holiday weekend-- and people here go to the beach, and the mountains. We are about 3 hours from Myrtle Beach.
