If Biden is only leading 2-5 points, we would be in panic mode and will rightfully think Trump has a very good chance to win just like in 2016. But Biden is leading around 7-10 points nationally, which translates to leading most of the battleground states as well.

Don't get me wrong. Trump can still has a chance to win but we are in a better position than back in 2016.

If 2016 polls hadn't have happened, people would be ecstatic, Joe is on position to thrash an incumbent.

The reasons why this isn't 2016 are too long to list, and the work is far from done, but Joe has a commanding lead right now, that's the story.

The Sky is NOT falling. Joe is maintaining the lead he's had all Summer and it is >50%.

What's more, the 12 point lead would almost have to transfer to EV wins in PA, Wisc, Mich, NC, Ariz, and probably Fla, Ga and maybe (fingers crossed) Tx.
