Kornacki just went over the numbers on MSNBC:
In 2016, Trump tied with Hillary with white voters with college degree.
With non-college degree white voters, Trump won by 32%!
In 2020, Trump is behind Biden by 25% with white voters with college degree.
With non-college degree white voters, Trump wins 22%, instead of the 32% as in 2016.
He also said that white voters make up 80% of the voters in PA.
From a distance, that looks like an ass-kicking, at this moment in time.

(42,278 posts)so they are going to laser focus on any number that doesn't look good for Biden - thus Morning Joe's obsessive focus on latino voter numbers in Florida in a recent poll.
These other numbers are damning for Dotard.

(16,699 posts)1. Joe Biden does not have the baggage as did Hillary Clinton. Trump is having a hard time defining him. Trump's lies are not taking hold.
2. Joe Biden is reaching voters on a level Trump is not. He sees and feels their pain economically, financially, medically.
3. Joe has support from the Military community. He will NEVER disparage them. To do so, would be to disparage his son, John McCain, Tammy Duckworth, and all who served or are serving.
4. Joe will deliver. He oversaw the Economic recovery that took 4 years to take hold. Obama handed Trump a good economy. He knows what businesses need to stay afloat.
5. Joe and Kamala represent HONESTY, DECENCY, and INTEGRITY. Despite the furor, a return to some sort of normalcy is sorely needed.
I could be wrong. But I do believe voters are finally waking up because Trump now has a record to defend.

Joe Biden has a record of working across the isle in the US Senate. He respected those who disagreed with him, as did Hillary. The brooms and pitchforks were out for Hillary in ways that angered me because she was so qualified to be POTUS and how much better off we would have been with her leadership.

I am trying to remember the source. I think it was 538. Also this was referring to 2016 to be clear
