We know Trump is as dumb as a box of hammers, and it looks like his son-in-law is as dumb as a bag of anvils.

As I posted this morning - it supposedly was Jared who advised Trump to “treat it like bad PR”.

Was that Jared CALMing his fears because they all knew they’d dropped the ball? Or was it Jared’s basic normal level of dumbass?

but his disastrous decision to cut off blue states may have been based or supported by his earlier advise to Trump.

I’m assuming that story about him is correct.

he could get Woodward on his side because he (Trump) is a narcissist and a stupid one at that. He knew the last Woodward book wasn't complimentary, but instead of declining further interviews he stupidly figured he could charm Woodward by talking to him on the record for 18 hours - not understanding that Woodward is an experienced pro and doesn't roll that way. Wadda maroon.

It’s BOB WOODWARD for crying out loud.

I could totally see that from Trump. He was just SURE he could charm Woodward. He charms everyone. Everyone likes him. Just ask everyone in his bubble.

They thought their brillance and charm would win Woodward over. THEY were the ones who could crack the code and turn this book into an asset.

Boy howdy.

Their instincts...are...always...wrong.

These Trump self-inflicted wounds are hysterical. Keep it up Donnie!

When will these people learn that they should listen closely to everything Kushner says ... and then do the exact opposite?
