He wanted to blame the Governors and other assorted Democrats. He wanted to mock scientists and science - because that's what his base wants.

He wanted to claim he had a handle on everything but China, the Democratic Party, and mean people were against him.

He wanted to squeeze dollars out of it all.

Trump thrives on panic. To pretend otherwise is to deny his true nature. And that POS has done nothing but show his true nature.
