At a campaign stop on Feb. 28th, Biden says that he and Obama put a mechanism in place to contain the Ebola virus, and then he said, it wasn't a time to panic. But corona virus is a serious public health challenge.

President has blithely tweeted that 'it will all work out well.' Yet the steps he has taken have only weakened our capacity to respond.

The possibility of a pandemic is a challenge Donald Trump is unqualified to handle as president. I remember how Trump sought to stoke fear and stigma during the 2014 Ebola epidemic. He called President Barack Obama a “dope” and “incompetent” and railed against the evidence-based response our administration put in place — which quelled the crisis and saved hundreds of thousands of lives — in favor of reactionary travel bans that would only have made things worse. He advocated abandoning exposed and infected American citizens rather than bringing them home for treatment.

Trump’s demonstrated failures of judgment and his repeated rejection of science make him the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health challenge.

The outbreak of a new coronavirus, which has already infected more than 2,700 people and killed over 80 in China, will get worse before it gets better. Cases have been confirmed in a dozen countries, with at least five in the United States. There will likely be more.

First off, Biden was not in charge of anything to do with it at that point and was referring to his preemptive efforts left in place with the last Administration, which would be something to be proud of and also a means to deal with the pandemic.

Secondly, he was referring to the playbook and everything that had already been put in place prior to Trump TAKING OVER. There was even a drill/simulation last October for a potential pandemic.

I don't know for sure, but was Biden aware, at that time, that Trump was going to ignore/destroy the playbook and procedures and not take any preemptive action? It could be that he didn't realize yet just how nefarious and negligent Trump was going to be about that?

How can Biden be held responsible for Trump's negligence and dismantling when he should be commended for the work and forethought he and Obama put into it?

Hannity is just, as usual, being a cherry picking shill and excluding important contextual information which is usually the case with people who walk around with huge fallacies up their behinds.

The only real problem is that too many people who watch that propaganda will overlook that they are being manipulated and not bother to do their own fact checking. He is counting on that because they think it sounds true.
