He tested positive, but died from the aftereffects about three months after he tested negative.

Another friend died from mysterious pneumonia that the doctors couldn't find a cause for. He tested negative, but it's hard to understand what else could have gotten him. He wasn't that old.

But one of my students who had covid pneumonia at the same time as me told me his grandmother died from it, it was transmitted to them by a relative who concealed having it.

My family so far are all ok. A person who I grew up with and one of my brothers still know fell ill, but last I heard he was recovering somewhat and was no longer critical.

11. One dead

1 permanently disabled
One who was so sick for 65 days she could not leave her room. (And at least a dozen more who were less serioulsy impacted.)

Although I take issue with, " the only person in the country who knew how bad it really could be was donald trump."

Go back and find my posts from late January/early February and you will see I was predicting it then (as well that masks are effective, the disease can be transmitted person to person, via the air, that masks are effective for both the wearer and the person who is ill, and a whole host of other things.).

So - yes, Trump was criminally negligent - BUT - there were way too many others (including scientists and doctors) who were turning a blind eye to what should have been obvious to anyone seriously studying China and Italy.

Her SIL is a doctor and figures he brought it home from the hospital, but her daughter refused to wear a mask grocery shopping so it could be that too.

Her niece and grandnephew also got it but are doing better.

Several other people I know got it. 2 hospitalized, one “recovered” but still exhausted. He’s a heart doctor and probably got it from patients in the hospital.

All last month
All males in their 50’s
All great guys

Now today:
3 coworkers exposed
1 sick and in isolation

Everyone in our clinic on edge

To the folks that are saying: woodward waited until the election for maximum impact vs Trump

The election will be too late for those who have died

These people were all part of the outer orbit of my life. I wasn’t intimately friends with them, but I had interactions with them.

They are missed and the suffering of their families had been hard to watch.
