Little Grubby Grover - that filthy scumbag, avaricious, oligarchic piglet - will finance their campaigns if our elected reps do his bidding.

Like Mafiosi sticking their noses up their mob boss' behind - out of fear and with criminal, selfish minds - everyone on that list is a traitor to their constituents and to our nation.

...who's financing Norquist that nearly every House and Senate Republican takes him seriously?

I ask mysef that often, since that Cretin gave us DEsJarlais, spent one tenth of his 2010 campaign budget unseating our loveable DINO Lincoln Davis.

Need to see where Grubby Grover gets his bucks. At one time I knew that, but there's so much going on it fell out the head.

I'll be baaaack.....

According to wikipedia, his "American for Tax Reform" was a major funnel for Abramoff's ill-gotten gain.

"According to a 2011 memoir by former lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Norquist was one of Abramoff's first major Republican party contacts.[34] Norquist and Americans for Tax Reform were also mentioned in Senate testimony relating to the Jack Abramoff Indian lobbying scandal which resulted in a 2006 guilty plea by Abramoff to three criminal felony counts of defrauding of American Indian tribes and corrupting public officials. Records released by the Senate Indian Affairs Committee allege that ATR served as a "conduit" for funds that flowed from Abramoff's clients to surreptitiously finance grass-roots lobbying campaigns.[35] Norquist has denied that he did anything wrong, and has not been charged with any crime"

Additionally: "As a nonprofit organization, Americans for Tax Reform is not required to disclose the identity of its contributors. Critics such as Sen. Alan Simpson, have asked Norquist to disclose his contributors; he has declined but has said that ATR is financed by direct mail and other grassroots fundraising efforts. According to CBS News, "a significant portion appears to come from wealthy individuals, foundations and corporate interests."

Now to The Nation:

Their quote from the NYT:

"According to the New York Times:

Indian tribes say Mr. Abramoff dropped Mr. Norquist’s name when he began trying to win their business. Mr. Norquist used his platform to argue against taxing Indian gambling. Mr. Abramoff billed the tribes tens of millions of dollars to try to fend off antigambling groups and regulators and to send members of Congress on lavish overseas trips. The tribes say Mr. Abramoff also instructed them to give money to Mr. Norquist’s groups as way of getting an audience with the Bush administration. The tribes gave $1.5 million to Americans for Tax Reform and $250,000 to the Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy, the group founded by Mr. Norquist and Ms. [Gail] Norton."

And from the same article, quoting the New Yorker:

Ten days later, Abramoff sent another e-mail to Reed: “ATR will be sending a second $300K today. How much more do we need? We can’t lose this.” Once again, Americans for Tax Reform apparently took a cut of the money, prompting Abramoff to write to himself a few days later: “Grover kept another $25K!”

The committee also released correspondence relating to a meeting that Norquist helped organize in May, 2001, at which some of Abramoff’s Indian clients met with President Bush. On April 5th, Abramoff wrote to Norquist, “Here’s the first of the checks for the tax event at the White House. I’ll have another $25K shortly.” Sixteen months later, on August 12, 2002, Abramoff wrote to an official with the Saginaw Chippewas, another of his client tribes, “Last year Grover set a meeting for certain select tribal leaders (Coushatta and Chitimach were the only ones) and the speakers of the house of several legislatures to meet with the President in a small meeting for photos, etc. The tribes paid for the event (total cost was $100K for the entire thing, and each tribe put in $50K). Grover has asked me to line up a few tribes to do so again"

So, basically, Grover Norquist is a MONEY-LAUNDERING criminal who should be in jail, rather than some REpuke demi-gawd being fellated by and issuing orders to our members of Congress.

He's a criminal. Congress has signed a pledge to a thieving, money-laundering THUG.

Big Surprise, there.

there is a clear connection to Abramoff, which of course means, as you say, money laundering in high places.

Norquist is the personification of the ills of Citizens United.

My hope is that he is soon indicted for his criminal money-grubbing activities. He thinks he's all that and a bag of chips, and he's no more than a megalomaniacal THUG that our Congress members kneel down and pleasure just to keep themselves in campaign dough.

He is the poster child for the need for campaign finance reform AND for the danger of Citizens United.

PLease, FSM, let us see the cretin Grover Norquist in prison where he belongs - with ALL of the Congress members who signed his "pledge to destroy America"!
