Smoking gun: Giuliani's Russian spy busted by Treasury Dept. Ron Johnson also implicated.

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/09/gop-senator-implicated-in-rudy-giuliani-plot-to-smear-biden-with-help-from-russian-spy/

“Andrii Derkach and other Russian agents employ manipulation and deceit to attempt to influence elections in the United States and elsewhere around the world,” said Secretary Steven Mnuchin. “The United States will continue to use all the tools at its disposal to counter these Russian disinformation campaigns and uphold the integrity of our election system.”

Derkach had also been supplying documents to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and other Republican lawmakers and worked with Giuliani on broadcasts by the pro-Trump One America News Network aimed at undermining impeachment.

They have something on the whole lot of them from what I see. Remember 2006 - the GOP almost stopped existing .... but they got some money from somewhere and here we are.

It's easier to point fingers at foreigners such as Chinese, Russian, Iranian.

But the real culprits are the gluttons who want to own the assets of the world - multi-nationally. The oligarchs and plutocrats don't care about national boundaries. They also don't care about the little people, as long as the little people are quiet and meek.

I wonder if this will take the steam out of anything Ron Johnson might try to pull regarding Hunter Biden.

But what a fall this is in my view. DOJ would have handled these cases, now Treasury is slapping wrists instead?

Maybe Powell will stop Fed purchases?

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/09/politics/dhs-whistleblower-white-supremacist-threat/index.html

The whistleblower claims that acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf instructed DHS officials earlier this year to "cease providing intelligence assessments on the threat of Russian interference" and, instead, focus their efforts on gathering information related to activities being carried out by China and Iran. [snip]

The complaint also alleges that Wolf and Cuccinelli, both Trump appointees, directed officials to change intelligence assessments to ensure they matched up with misleading public comments from Trump about Antifa and "anarchist" groups, according to a complaint filed with the DHS inspector general. [snip]

"Last month, in a bid to prevent informing the American people and its elected representatives about Russian efforts to help President Trump and hurt Joe Biden, the Trump Administration announced that it would cease briefing Congress in person, and rely on written products alone. But if written products are being altered for political reasons, or worse withheld entirely, how can the American people trust that this Administration will inform voters on how foreign powers are trying to influence them, or where the threats really come from, and protect our national security— particularly when it contradicts the President's preferred narrative or personal political interests? In short, they can't, and that's dangerous," Schiff said in his statement Wednesday.

They reached too far, and someone finally blew the whistle. Thank goodness for the whistleblowers.

The related CNN article linked by Rawstory is also well worth the read.

Lock him up.

If Mnuchin is personally announcing the sanctions then they have to be trying to get ahead of this story. Otherwise he would not only be indifferent but supportive of this Russian agent. There is no way he have the full story yet.
