(16,850 posts)How absolutely despicable do you have to be to spin shit into a false reality like this? Hey Mitch, this isn't ancient history! We actually lived this nightmare and nothing that orange tangerine turd did could be remotely considered commendable or applauded.

(5,409 posts)Seriously, your feelings mirror mine. McConnell belongs in prison if he isn't dead soon. He has done more to destroy our democracy than anyone in history. Just look at a fillibuster chart for the last 30 years. Plus his "one term" Obama plot. Plus Merrick Garland....the list goes on and on...

(83 posts)regardless of anything Woodward did or didn't do.
The game changed yesterday, they know it, that's why the Trump enablers on this site are so tenacious, they must protect trump AT ALL COSTS.
Anything Woodward did or didn't do has zero effect on any covid related outcome.

(1,789 posts)because Trump was out there telling his cult that the virus was no big deal, masks were tyranny, shut down orders were worse than the disease, and on and on. Any "positive" things he may have done were undone by infected idiots storming state capitals and such. Governors backed off on stay at home orders at his request. Whether they knew the real deal or not is another story, but Trump knew.

(82,849 posts)Has any other country on the planet had 200,000 deaths? You're applauding that, aren't you? And you're disappointed that the rest of us aren't popping champagne corks to celebrate Trump's achievement?

(21,935 posts)Trump had spent a couple of months hammering into people's heads that there weren't any dangers. And by then it was too late to prevent the deaths of 190,000 Americans (and counting).
But by all means Mitch, you go ahead and applaud him for that. Yay Trump.
