Our North Carolina mail in (absentee) ballots have arrived

Post marked 9/8 our ballots were received by mail today, 9/10, sent by first class mail ($1.20) from the Wayne County Board of Elections, which is in the same town (Goldsboro) in which we reside. So no mail delay.

We will fill them out and deliver them personally to the Board of Elections tomorrow.

4 page (2 pages both sides) of instructions, most of which consists of reprints of state laws dealing with election laws and voter fraud. Instructions require each ballot be mailed back with a 55 cent stamp on the envelope. The ballot itself is on fairly thick stock.

I will vote tomorrow during my plan period so I can have my witness and then run it up after school. I have never voted this way before but there is no way I will not be voting this year. I want to be sure nothing interferes.
