Evacuation on Tuesday night but since yesterday at 1 and still there.

This morning the smoke came in heavy and air quality is hazardous 356. I keep hoping some cool wind or rain will come. The problem with hoping for wind is the fires will get worse. I live down south in Medford.

I love my state and all its beautiful trees just breaks my heart.

It was the first time during a long report with governor she asked the WH to not be partisan and help us like he did for the states with hurricanes. She had a disgusted look on her face when she said that.

Hang in there. I think I just saw that the east winds driving all these fires is abating. Certainly hope so.

With air conditioning and bowls of vinegar to cut the smoke smell and watching mindless tv all day.

Have an email pal west of Medford where the Slater fire from CA is getting close to. Prob is, he has people anxiety issues, doesn't drive and I don't know what the hell he is going to do if it gets up to Cave Junction. I'm scared to death for him and the thousands that are trying to survive this.

Edit: He is level 2. fuck
