We are still working, I am until December, I just found out I will be let go in December, my husband is still employed. I took the money and gave it to my sister and her husband. They have been out of work since March, the extra $600 in unemployment helped them, but they needed the money a lot more than we did.
We are not rich, but we are not without food, shelter or medical care so in that way we are rich. What made me crazy, was the money that should have gone to mom and pop stores that went to big chain operations. Of course they will take care of their own first. Lots of small stores and restaurants have gone out of business here.
