When most of us consider the unbelievable courage and grit displayed by the 40 passengers of

Flight 93 on 9-11, we find ourselves with over-welling eyes and a catch in our throat. These people---these heroes---acted as we hope we would have acted; these folks were "America" in a nutshell. We will never know how many lives they saved.

And, since I find other things to do whenever Trump speaks, I do not yet know what he said in his address at Shanksville today, but I wonder: did his remarks include "I don't get it. What was in it for them?"

likely knew that was what their hijackers had in mind. They decided to die as heroes, not victims.
