I wouldn't be surprised for the Ds to do a "Contract with America" strategy prior to the election
I actually think it DOES NEED to be done and done now. It was extremely effective for the Reputincans in 1994, and it may have great merit in 2020.
It will show normal-thinking folks (which are the majority) EXACTLY how the Ds will get the US back on track at all levels, both domestically and internationally, and will do so before the election. The Rs would have almost no way of countering it, since they presided over this fiasco totally for two years from 2017-2019 and in the White House/Senate for two more years from 2019-2021.
It's hokey, but it would actually get the D united, show the voters they are united, and then they can hit the ground running in January 2021 to turn this mess around.
More than anything, it gives us hope.
