A 9-11 rant

My husband is not a social media type but wrote this today and I shared it on Facebook hoping his MAGA relatives read it!
It was so good I had to share it here also!
For those supporters who are delusional in their obedient support for Trump... On this day as we remember those who died on Sept. 11, 2001, there is now over 190,000 ... let me repeat… over 190,000 Americans who have died from the Covid 19 virus. (That is a quarter of the world’s death from this virus and don’t you dare try and spin that.) There are 100’s of thousands of people who have been forced to flee their homes and towns and many who have lost their homes in the brutal fires burning in the west. And yet your idol president has the inability to show any empathy or remorse to these stories. Yet there you are wrapped up in all your unhappiness and insecurity worshipping this sociopath, who actually has contempt for you, and uses fear and loathing to manipulate you. Simply, Trump is a liar, an authoritarian with aspirations to be a dictator. You watch your FOX news, listen to Rush Limbaugh or one his clones (pun intended), follow the ridiculous conspiracies put out by far right social media sites. You seriously take Qanon (run by Russian bots at the service of Putin) as giving you insight on the “truth?" Where have I seen that shit before? Oh yes, cults and Fascist societies. Step outside the cult and you will see the obvious that has been slapping you in the face since Trump entered the scene. It has been a disaster. He has divided this nation in the worst way since the Confederates took up arms against the United States. Well guess what Trump supporters… you are the Confederates and they lost!
