So doing these rallies at airports are safer for him, because he just gets on and off the plane without getting near too many people, but the crowd is totally herded together worse than if there was seating, right?

(657 posts)On the other side of the freeway by The Valley Auto Mall (US 95 and Henderson) there was a manufacturing place that was all set up for something big. Cranes were hoisted in the air with lots of lawn chairs on the curb. Not normal for a Saturday afternoon. That building is tucked away, out of sight. Perfect place to sneak in a rally with more than 50 people. Not sure when the rally will take place. Intersection of Eastgate road and Boulder Highway in Henderson.

(2,193 posts)I am serious, these would not be allowed anywhere in Nevada indoors so they held them outdoors.
Stacks of chairs on pallets, lots of space, no tickets.

(25,201 posts)My daughter's wedding.
There was a bit of debauchery involved....We're a big Mexican family and they just couldn't wait, so they had to have their big fat wedding, complete with: Bowling, buffet, Halloween costumes, loud music and open bar. Masks were rarely worn. It was at Saengerrunde Hall in downtown Austin and it was their first event since the pandemic. The staff was pretty bad at enforcing social distancing, cuz they didn't know what to make of this motley crew and masks were off a good deal of the time, cuz everyone was yelling over the loud music. My son was dressed in a Trump wig, my husband dressed as Biden in aviators. My daughter in law was dressed as a pirate and on and on it went.
I went into quarantine afterward for two weeks. Even my 88 year old mother in law was there. No one caught Covid 19. So don't assume this is gonna be a big super spreader event. The rally looks like it was outdoors.
