5. People Who Say They Cannot Breathe In a Mask, Sir, Need To See A Doctor
Mon Sep 14, 2020, 11:40 AM
Sep 2020

I do notice my breath is a bit short in one, though not sufficiently to dissuade me from the protection it offers, but I have had pneumonia several times in the last few years, and there has been some real damage done. If someone really has difficulty breathing in one of these masks, they have serious underlying pulmonary and possibly cardiac issues and need medical attention.

7. When I have to go on-property, I wear a mask

and I'm often carrying equipment around, up and down stairwells multiple times, climbing ladders, etc, and even when I'm breathing hard after climbing 4-5 flights of stairs (i tend to go up faster than I really need to and usually carrying an extra 20-25lbs on my back w/my backpack) I can still breathe fine

My biggest problem is that my glasses fog up for a bit

9. If your glasses are fogging please look for a mask with a proper seal. It's important.

Without a proper seal, your mask is filtering significantly less of what is coming in, functioning essentially only to protect others from you.

We care about others, but we want you protected.

10. I'm pretty challenged with my asthma, Magistrate

...wearing it my entire shift unloading and separating pallets of grocery items, and then stocking the aisles.

I panic a bit too, I think, measuring my breath as often as I do.

I'm a mask warrior, though, the very first in my department wearing one and nagging the rest of the crew who had theirs in place before it was mandated in the state and the store. I'm still, by far, the most vigilant in my sphere. Probably saved lives, as often as I've asserted myself.

3. Russia is very happy to see this video.

Pure, unadulterated Russian fascist propaganda at work via right-wing social and public media. They are the masters of this technique.

Constantly stir up conflict and confusion and cast doubt on all science and known facts.

40 years of uncountered, unprotested Hate Radio on close to 1,000 stations in every nook and cranny of this country has turned us into a shithole country.

Funny, but when people only hear one thing 24/7 for 40 years, they tend to feel like everyone thinks just like them.

There was actually a good experiment done on this not too long ago...twice

Remember when some jackass TV producer thought; "hey, Rush Limbaugh has all these radio listeners, let's give him a talk show"? Or, when the NFL said; "let's put Rush on the game broadcast, he likes football"?

Both of those lasted about a week.

Once ole' Rusty got out of his bubble, he found out he wasn't quite so "popular".

8. We had a marathon runner here a while ago

who ran almost 100 kms wearing a mask and a blood oxygen monitor. His blood oxygen level stayed above 98% the entire run.

His purpose was to demonstrate that wearing a mask does not cause any respiratory issues (at least in healthy individuals).

He also noted the mask felt a bit uncomfortable and confining for a while at the start but he soon got used to it.

14. My niece shared a video of some hysterical young woman using her son as a prop to point out

the inherent danger of children wearing masks who might be kidnapped. "How will any witness to the kidnapping be able to describe the child if the child is wearing a mask?" she asks as she sheds tears of angst. So over dramatic! My response...better start with a review of your own parenting techniques in a stranger danger encounter and family/friends circle if you're that fearful of your child being kidnapped wearing a mask. The vast majority of kidnappings are by someone known to the child and/or parent and any child old enough to wear a mask AND be out and about without parental/adult supervision should be able to remove it immediately if they're being approached by a stranger. RWNJs are very stoopid!

BTW, my niece, a Sunshine State resident, has proudly stated she strongly dislikes masks. She has 2 young children who she constantly posts photos of on social media. Ugh!
