What are you, seven years old? Yeah, we all have to do things we don't want to do, and put off things we actually want to do. It's called being a grown up. Do the 16- and 17-year-olds want to play sports? Sure. But somebody needs to be the adult in this room, and it's not really fair to ask that of the juveniles.

they don't believe that any of it is real and have insisted that sports take place as if there were no pandemic.

So, aside from distancing in the weight room (limiting how many can be there at one time), it's all "normal".

It's like they can't manage their lives without their kid in some sport. And WTF with 'I was in a bar because no high school football'?

My 6th grade kid is doing distance learning, but we are all devoid of athletic talent. My kids do, however, have musical and academic talents.
