(85,986 posts)...in my opinion.
It's not about old age, it's about this mentally diseased man angling for a second term running the country. It has nothing at all to do with ANYONE here. It's about the man who would be dictator for life who appears to be simply mad.
I don't understand ANY defense of him. He's not us, not in any shape or form. He's human waste.

(2,220 posts)I am younger and in much better shape than him, but I take a medication that makes me ever-so-slightly dizzy. I dont notice it on flat surfaces, but I absolutely need a handrail to go up and down stairs, and ladders and steps stools are completely off limits.
Ill fault him for every other damn thing he says or does but, for this, he gets a pass from me.

(85,986 posts)...and he's covering it up, hiding it from the American people by denigrating Joe Biden's apparently excellent health.
It may well be 'silly' to you, but I'd argue that nearly 200k dead Americans are the direct result of his mental illness. Furthermore, I don't think it's silly to expect our president to be physically fit, as well, not less than 50 days before deciding to reelect him. How does one simply brush off the doddering wastrel's infirmities in the face of his YEARS of aberrant, dangerous, and destructive behavior?
I'm convinced he's suffering from severe cognitive decline. Silly me.

Asshole, yes, but not this level of decline.
What you might not be getting is that we have a perfect right to decide for ourselves what physical or mental state these nominees are in before voting for them. Ridicule all you want, but he looks like a mental catastrophe to me. I don't have a doctor to confirm because Donald Trump has covered up and lied about his physical and mental health - he's done so in ways which invite scrutiny, demand accountability.
But, lord knows, standards are severely down these days, the lowest of expectations apparently rule.

(85,986 posts)...he's fronting a Putin initiated propaganda campaign to portray Joe Biden as incapacitated and mentally declined. It's not just Trump, it's his surrogates and cronies, as well.
Moreover, I'd argue that Trump's physical infirmity appears related to his erratic behavior which is regarded as dementia for most folks who go off the rails in their later years. It looks to me like something the American people deserve some accounting for, not just because he appears infirm and addled, but because he's running for a second term of running the nation.
You get a pass, any day of the week. He shouldn't, not in the face of his bizzare behavior, and we shouldn't shy away from demanding that our president is fit and able to serve, both mentally and physically. I don't think Donald Trump measures up, and I believe he's a very sick man in both mind and body.

FWIW, as an RN I don't see any convincing evidence for a stroke or other TBI. I see the natural decline of an aging man who eats garbage, does not read, engages in no novel activities, has a complete void of curiosity, refuses exercise, abuses drugs, and hobbles his own physical and mental performance by rejecting a regular and adequate sleep schedule.
Additionally, he has *always* had a fear of being laughed at for falling down stairs. I've seen interviews and tweets where he mentioned it repeatedly over many years. He's always had this very weird habit of patting the rail, like normal people pat a beloved pet or even a child, or a s/o. It's like he's praising it for being good. Once you watch him do it, you'll see it constantly. He's SO strange.

I do because Im not as agile as I once was and my knees are iffy. I tripped over my own feet and landed face down while walking my dog a few weeks ago.
I cant figure out if you were bullied as a kid or you were the bully. Regardless, some of you need to grow up.
