He seems genuinely confused as to why people keep telling him his interviews with Trump were all about psychology when he sees himself only as a journalist collecting facts. Clearly the reason is that Trump cannot speak about facts he can only speak about his impressions... how things in the world affect HIM. Trump can't talk about coronavirus or Kim Jog Un... he can only talk about how they impact HIM. Tie this in with the quotes from Coats that Trump doesn't even know what a lie is he only knows its what he thinks. I think Trump is just an egoist like a pre-adolescent who does not even understand that there is a world outside of his own experience.
