Wasn't China largely shut down before Trump restricted travel? How many people did his "ban"

actually stop getting in? I've searched, but my ability doesn't turn up any analysis of this. I'm wondering if it was really only people that knew they were exempt even trying to get on flights, and most of them getting in.

A while, people from everywhere else coming into airports commented on the lack of any meaningful screening to keep Covid out.

So it was worthless in that regard as well as the fact that jets have flown without interruption every day between the U.S. And China.
