What do you think of the Steinbrenner family still supporting Giuliani and Trump?

The New York Yankees' owner, Hal Steinbrenner, who's still chummy with Giuliani and Trump, what do you think?

Do you think they should distance from the two since the Bronx is a diverse area, they don't want to lose Yankee fans, do they?

It makes sense for them to support any republican. They’re generally only concerned with themselves. It doesn’t make sense for anyone who isn’t rich to support Тяцмр or any Republican.

I hate broad brush assumptions about economic status and political leanings.

"I think that an equally biased assumption."

More or less biased an assumption than calling an industrial accident an "extrajudicial execution by terrorists?"

(I get it... holding others to a higher standard than we hold ourselves to allows us the opportunity for some juicy self-righteousness when the old self-validation tank gets low-- not that that's your thing, of course)

Since his father died in 2010, Hal has not been focused on the franchise.

He is basically a man who inherited a franchise from a blustery, win at all costs meddling owner who demands excellence and winning world championships.

A trust fund child.

Whose family has ties to Trump.

Look at the owner of the Patriots. Boston isn't exactly Republican central.

And it seems like the fans don't care much either. Hell, most sports owners seem to be Republican, and almost all sports teams are in major cities that are largely Democratic.

It never seems to register.

Which does not in any way, deny equally valid (if not quite as preening) terms for it as well.
