That was said in February, March, around Easter, the embarrassing "cubic model" that said it would be gone by April 20, the "turning the corner" right before the huge spikes in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and Mississippi, and "around labor day".
They're 0 for 6 now. About to be 0 for 7.

...already failed.
Despite folks here claiming otherwise, the main aggregators and the insurance data consortium were getting data directly from county boards of health, coroners' offices, and hospital groups.
DHS may have tried to cook the books, but when their numbers didn't square with everyone else's, it revealed both their shenanigans & failure.
It's why they bailed and redirected the data to CDC.
It was a plan that was never going to succeed, and it didn't.
