After Trump loses, what can Congress or courts do to hamstring Trump until Jan. 2021?
Does anyone know what can be done to put the hammer down on the Trump administration for a couple of months?

1. Haven't studied, good question.
MIGHT have to depend on each action he attempts to take.

4. Trump Admin.
One good thing is that unlike the President and Vice President, the new Congress (hopefully with a Democratic-controlled Senate), assumes power on Jan. 3, not Jan. 20.

So don't get your hopes up.

27. Trump
Sure, but if the House impeaches him before 1/3, the Senate, if in democratic hands, can immediately start a trial and this time bring in all witnesses.

30. And he'd still be acquitted.
With all the problems facing the country, devoting the time and resources for House and then Senate impeachment proceedings to install Mike Pence as a lame duck president (assuming that Trump lost) isn't going to sell well.

He will be the one fucking up election results. How to do it? I don't know that answer.

21. Not going to happen.
Members of Congress will be out campaigning much of the time between now and election day. And they're not going to go through a pointless exercise of impeaching anyone during the transition period (assuming Trump loses).

9. Impeach, convict, remove, and prohibit from ever serving in the federal govt.
Sen. McConnell and his Repuke Senators may permit that to happen, as they do not want to set an example of a lame duck president running amok.

12. Except they don't care about examples.
They’re hypocrites.
They’ll aid and abet Trump running amok, and then turn around and shut down any Democrat even thinking of trying to accomplish anything during a lame duck period. Remember a guy buy the name of Merrick Garland? Remember what McConnell said about if Trump tried to appoint an SC Justice during a lame duck period? These fools are not known for their consistency, except for their consistent hypocrisy. |

11. I expect the senate to turn it up to 11
on appointments, and expect Executive Orders to come fast and furious. I expect national secrets to go on eBay, and everything possible sold to the Trump crime family for pennies.
Anyone want to buy a national park? National monument? Aircraft Carrier? Get em now! It’s a fire sale! |

Ms “I don’t care do U?” or Princess Sparkle Pony? (aka Melania and Ivanka)
Seriously, I expect the Trumps and their ilk to make some of the White House artworks go missing. |

29. Oh absolutely.
I imagine they’ve already been surreptitiously nicking it already.
They’re not good people. Anything that wasn’t inventoried before they took office is just gone. And anything that was inventoried is sold to Trump crime family and friends. |

14. just do that drumpf does..........
sue. doesn't matter if the case has any merit, you can tie anything you want up in the courts for a year or more, just look at his taxes. we still don't have them a year and a half later despite the law clearly saying Congress can ask for anyone's taxes. sue on every executive order and then just cancel them when biden is sworn in.

23. November 4th, House needs to subpoena.....
...EVERY F-in' SCRAP of paper in the Executive Branch! Along with every data storage gizmo/gadget, cell phone, and probably every tRump appointee for testimony. Tie it all up before Shitgibbon tries to burn all the evidence.
Oh, yeah, seize every executive branch passport. If they're gonna flee the country, make 'em work to do it. Use ankle bracelet/GPS as needed. |
