We have a new system where they hand you a blank ballot, you go into the booth and insert the ballot into the machine, then make your selections (touch screen). Then the machine prints your choices onto your ballot and presents it to you behind a glass window. You verify that it is correct and then hit "Submit" and it sucks it in.

You insert the blank ballot into the machine and make your selections on the touchscreen. Once you're done, you review your choices, then print the ballot back out and then walk over to the counting machine and insert the ballot. You get a little "Your vote has been counted!" message on the screen, and the ballot drops into a lockbox that's kept in case of a recount.

Best part? No internet connection for any machine, so no possibility for outside interference.
