stranger hurls glass bottle at black woman jogger

A racial hate-spewing stranger hurled a glass bottle at a Black woman jogging in Queens — calling her the N-word and yelling that she should go back to Africa, a disturbing video shows.

Tiffany Johnson, 37, who lives in Woodside, didn’t report the Aug. 17 attack on 53rd Place and Broadway in her neighborhood until a friend saw the shocking video posted on social media.

The video, released by cops Wednesday, shows a woman sipping from a glass bottle as she approaches the corner. She then suddenly hurls it at Johnson, who’s jogging by.

The bottle breaks, Johnson turns around, confused — and the attacker shrieks, “Get out! Get the f--- out!”

When Johnson asks what the woman’s problem is, she snarls back: “Why aren’t you in Africa, m----f---- n----r!”

"Racism is being perceived as a threat due to the color of my skin," she writes.
"That I don't feel pain the same way and am different somehow, therefore its permissible to hunt, threaten and or use excessive force to get a simple result. That whether jogging or bbq or walking in a hoodie, somehow a human being whose skin color is brown is a threat, therefore force and violence is okay."

It was a college town, but where I lived off-campus was in a rural area some miles from the campus.

One December afternoon, a carload of high schoolers passed me jeering and yelling “dyke!” From the back seat came a bottle, which glanced off my helmet as I ducked. Miracle I didn’t fall.

I don’t think they expected to hit me, and they slowed for a minute. Their mistake because I got the plate at that point.

Called the sheriff when I got home, and lo and behold they picked the morons up. Four in the car and I went to the station at sheriff’s request. Deputy asked if I wanted to press charges, and I said I’d be happy if they’d apologize and if their parents were called. Redneck kids, it was a girl who tossed the bottle and she said she was sorry. Probably sorry she got caught. No doubt they’re all tangeranus voters by now.

At any rate, it ruined my ride on that road for a long time. Looking back, I can’t believe i did that. Winding, hilly, two lane, no shoulder country road.
