Those 200,000+ deaths will take down the Con. He is responsible for these deaths and he is going to pay the price. His enablers will go down with him. Malarkey man is going down. ByeDon!

...the Constitution does not give Americans the right to vote for their president. Rather, the Constitution says that a college of electors votes for the president, and Article II of the Constitution gives states nearly unlimited power to decide how these electors are chosen. In the early years of the American republic, many state legislatures decided which presidential candidate the states electors would support. South Carolina used this method until 1868. Today, all 50 states grant their residents the right to vote for president, and the peoples vote determines which electors from each state will select the next president. However, any state could change its law and instead allow its legislature to decide which electors will choose the next president.
Rs control 30 State Legislative bodies and that is more than enough to make this national disenfranchisement work.

(17,527 posts)But I am just not allowing myself the luxury of believing it is a done deal. It hurt too much the last time. We entered a new world this year, one that would be familiar to Rod Sterling, where anything can happen, and nightmares can come true. As Paul Fussell said, "There is nothing more depressing than optimism."
The current administration is telling us, loud and clear, and repeating it daily, that they do not intend accept defeat. We have been told that if we go to the streets after a coup, we will be dealt with harshly. We will be covering new ground, and we will be doing it with a silent Republican party, a despotic President, and a corrupt justice system.
Hitler published Mein Kampf, and nobody believed it until it was too late. Trump is publishing his intentions daily and we are not taking it seriously either. Trump is telling us that he plans to go to war on our system of elections, and we sit around, fat and happy,
depending on plurality of the vote to save the day....
