Though, I doubt Trump or McConnell cares much about our voices.

So in other words, nope. There is nothing we can do because it's up to the senate.

But Rand Paul will go on the big TV machine and whine and complain --------- and then vote the way Mitch tells him to.

So, the vote would have to happen between Nov 3, and Jan 21. She will lose the election anyway. After she
loses, then she could vote for a Trump replacement. And I do believe she will lose no matter what happens.

The GOP will use this to rally the base for the election and vote afterwards. Either they lose the Senate and the lame duck GOP can do whatever they want cause they are no longer beholden to voters. Or they hold the Senate and it doesn't matter anyway.

It may turn on how much of a rightwingnut the nominee is.

The anti-Trump murmurs amongst Republicans we hear about with regularity (which are never, ever, confirmed or voiced in public) indicate that at least some members, at least privately, have limits.

If he nominations a rabid idiot, some might not go for it if they are no longer living in fear of Trump lambasting losing them them an election. Who knows?

We can always hope.
