(4,845 posts)I don't think the person nominated or rushed through would care. He/she gets the title and the life-time appointment.
Look to the Gorsuch nomination. It's done in the worst possible way and no one mentions it other than us. He could care less about the situation he got nominated.

Or are you saying they might worry about being subject to assassination? When has that ever been a credible threat? And don't you think they'd be given the best Secret Service protection our tax dollars can buy?
