It’s time for women’s march part 2.

Socially distanced of course.

I emailed them immediately. I was very polite, did not use phrases like "Shit, BLOTUS is gonna nominate another rapist!" or "Don't let another white male (insert any word you wouldn't say in front of your mother here) decide my fate!" or "Why couldn't it be Clarence Thomas?".

So I have a suggestion for those of you who are not blessed with two Senators on the Judiciary. Contact you own Senators. On the
Judiciary Committee, Joni Ernst is in a tight race and may bow to political pressure. In NC spineless Thom Tillis is also in a tight race. Plus he's spineless and vacillating.

In the full Senate, which is needed for a confirmation, Romney is so popular in Utah that if he chooses to exercise his conscience, he can get away with doing so. Murkowski might have some semblance of decency. Susan Collins might be "concerned". but we all know how well that works out.

We should all be saddened about the loss of Justice Ginsberg, and we should all celebrate her life.

We should also fight.

The bigger problem with McGrath is this is not a winning issue for her and seals her fate most likely. McConnell is merely a lever Kentucky is content to keep because of it's unhealthy devotion to the Rethuglican party.

Four good Dems at the federal level and a smart governor who made tough choices related to the pandemic. The chances of running into some idiot making a scene about "muh riot to not wear a muzzle!!" is slim.

Ginsburg made her own desire clear in the days before her death, NPR’s Nina Totenberg reported today. She dictated a statement to her granddaughter that read: “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”

He is really the scum of the earth. They are both disgusting excuses for human beings, but I think McConnell might just be inching ahead a bit here. Barr is giving both of them a run for their money. What is it with republicans? Why are they all such evil, despicable characters?

All of the "executive orders" Trump has signed...I have to believe that no one thinks he did the research, found those loopholes, put together the paperwork...in his pre-White House days, he had guys like Cohen doing the heavy lifting on his dirty work. I don't think that's changed...the immigration stuff comes from Miller, etc etc etc...

Detaching myself from his lack of a conscience or soul, McConnell is smart, crafty, filled with blind ambition...that's how he was able to get a "we WILL fill this seat" statement out while the news was just finding its way onto TV and the Internet. He has WAITED for this moment, he has PLANNED for it, and any pleasantries he included in his statement about RBG were just a formality, and not an accurate reflection of his mindset when releasing it.

I go with the popular logic...Trump is the useful idiot. McConnell is the true demon.

You are right. McConnell really is the true demon here. Trump is only the useful idiot. He's nothing more than a tool. McConnell on the other hand has had an agenda from the beginning and is hell bent on carrying it out.
