Would it be a change of fortune for Trump to announce

...that a successor to RGB should not be named until after inauguration? That would certainly make voters he has lost to rethink their position.
Don’t get me wrong there is no way in hell Trump could allow himself the character to pull that off. Just saying that it is sort of a silver lining that he is such a dick.
