They "want" our tears and our rage

It fuels them. It sustains them.

If you've ever wondered how a voter could go from voting for President Obama twice, and then go full on crazy on the Donnie Shit for Brains train, you should meet my brother.

See, politics taught me a very valuable lesson.

It's "cruelty" that they crave... these "angry white men".

My brother went off the deep end, NOT because of the ACA. NOT because President Obama was black. NOT because of economic policy or foreign policy. NOT because of guns, or abortion.

He went full on crazy because when he had the chance, President Obama wasn't "cruel".

He's kinda told me this himself.

"Why didn't President Obama tax the ever-loving-shit out of the 1%"?

"Why didn't he go after Cheney and Bush"?

These are just some of the statements my brother has made.

Then it dawned on me.

It's the cruelty and the "rub their faces in it" that he wanted.

If my brother was a football coach, I've no doubt that he would go for 2 with seconds left in the 4th Quarter and his team up 63-0.

I'm not sure what the percentage is, but since no amount of shitshow over the past 4 years takes Donnie Dipshit below 40% approval, I'm guessing it's at least 40% of our friends, neighbors and family that get off on the cruelty

As long as those in power are bringing the pain...as long as they are running up the score, they will stay with them.

I've reluctantly removed my only brother from my life, because I just can't take this lust for cruelty.

They don't care who gets hurt, as long as they can relish in the pain.

40 years of Hate Radio, and now Social Media have turned politics into Bloodsport.

They don't care about destroying anything, or anyone, as long as it brings maximum pain on those out of power.

God help us all if the Retrumplicans win again.

God help us even more if in order to win, we become like them.

Even if it means making things worse for their own selves. Which it does. They're just too brain-washed and blinded by their own hatred to notice. Bunch of sick, sick people.

my brother to a tee. Thus we quit speaking. He was a union rep where he worked and retired from with a good pension.
Full throttle trumper! And he really hates women but wants one for his bed.
Sad sad what Republican talking points has accomplished in the minds of people today. Pure poison!

Their worldview becomes skewed and they experience cognitive dissonance.

Even if I feel deep pain, I will not show it to those that feed on control and cruelty.

I will not feed the Wetiko beast.

Nothing reduces them into sputtering incoherence faster than laughing at them.

"Our perfect, infallible, all-knowing Dear Leader says he'll make sure we have a vaccine within a month."

"That's encouraging, coming from a guy who says that windmills cause cancer."

Except he's always been a racist and would have hated Obama even if he were cruel.

of sticking it to the libs. It's a classic example of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. It doesn't matter that we're going to hell in a handbasket as long as they can taste those liberal tears.

Our willingness to demure and adhere to tradition has put us in a hole that's been deepening since Newt Gingrich was speaker.

We will not win unless we are willing to throw their ruthlessness back in their face. Mind you, simply by doing things that are legal and ethical. Expanding the court and granting statehood.

Your brother is a rarity. Most Trumpers have always been right-wing assholes who hates gays, women and minorities and think the 1% will save them by giving them great jobs if the evil gubmint would just leave them be free of taxes.

Democrats have to use EVERY legal means to bury this entire nihilistic dystopian Hellscape political philosophy under the asheep of history.

That's why ensuring Joe Biden is elected is just the first step in a long, hard slog

How do we get them to turn on each other? Start a circular firing squad and then step out of the way?
